I need a site that lists all the available 3g services for the US and their pros/ cons, coverage areas, speeds, limitations, etc. Google doesn't want to work with me today >.<

This might help you I know your looking for a phone but these use the same network. Off the top of my head I know that Verizon has the most extensive 3g network in America.... but you cant do data and voice at the same time. Sprint has the same limitation as Verizon. AT&T and T-Mobile dont have that limitation. If you can afford it Verizon is probably the best... I go to school in a very rural area and Verizon gives me great coverage while my friends on AT&T Sprint and T-Mobile have to go outside to make calls...

I'm looking for 3g for a netbook, so no voice isn't a problem.

Are you traveling around the US..... then Verizon would be good if you are stagnant then another carrier may suit you better.

Could you be more specific as to where your primary usage would be? Verizon has extremely good national coverage for their EV-DO network, whereas Sprint, AT&T, and T-Mobile are more geared toward metropolitan areas.
__________________So far, I've seen the best raw speeds from AT&T as far as 3G goes, with Sprint, Verizon, and T-Mobile following in that order. Basically all laptop card plans are going to be limited to 5GB of bandwidth per billing period, with crazy overages if you use more. That being said, I have been very impressed with AT&T and Sprint in that department.
