Default Question about T-mobile 3G + Data.

I'm using one of the line from my bro's family 1000 mins plan (he pays everything for me). The question i have is: i just bought the Tmo HTC Touch Pro 2 on CL and i already have the Tmo Sim so i just put it in and use it. I'm just wondering if T-mobile gonna charge extra if my Touch pro 2 connects using 3G? My TP2 somehow be able to connect to the internet using data connection (HSDPA or HSUPA something which is as fast as my Wifi) which my bro's plan originally doesn't have. So will Tmobile bill my bro the data which my TP2 is using or it's free? Thanks guys.

That depends on whether your brother's plan has data provisioning on the TMobile side of things. I remember way back when, Cingular had me on a de facto "data pay per use" provision, and it would charge cents per KB. When AT&T bought them out, the they completely blocked data usage from my phone.

The best thing you could do is just call TMobile and ask.

Unless you have data on the plan, you will probably be charged by the MB.

^^^^this is true, without the data plan they will charge you by the MB. Then you can say goodbye to your plan when your bro cancels the line after he gets your bill lol.
