Sounds GREAT. You can't really tell from my camera microphone but theres a considerable amount of bass coming from the speaker. I find walls have alot better bass then glass though because of the fact their hollow inside. But you can hear the sound RIGHT through the walls, You kind of notice me take the speaker off the wall pretty fast because my dad was getting pissed. Lol.

But anybody that just wants to play with the differences and has a stereo at home can just spend $5 on a pair and go from there.

These actually are quite nice is you have a drop-tile ceiling. Put 8 or so in a room and you'll have a full omni experience.

Indeed. The business I work for actually does in-wall Installations of larger versions of these, they make for an insane surround sound experience mixed with other speakers.
