Hi Ppl!

There's some guy that says he got smartphone off of craigslist,
and then he d/led some hack and use sim card or smth and now
he doesn't have to pay for data plan.

How do you do it?

Also it was the phone that has windows mobile installed,
and also has a keyboard and a stylus and a touch screen.
Which phone is that?

you will need to be a little more specific than that you just described 50% of windows mobile phones

As long as you have the phone first you can pretty much do what you want. The data plan is really there for your protection because I have seen people without it getting charged thousands when they thought they were not on the internet when they really were.

If he is not paying for the data plan, which he receives anyways from some "hack", it would be considered illegal.

It is fully possible to get a smartphone with no data plan. That being said you would not be able to access the internet.

It depends what phone you are talking about. Many smart phones nowadays have third party software that you use in order to unlock them. With out the type of phone, I cant tell you much more...

He can actually go on the internet with it. I think it's a motorola (the one with the keyboard, touch screen and stylus).

But if you unlock them, does that give you the ability to go on the internet without paying for data plan?

I don't know about the free data plan, but last time I saw an unlocked iphone the only way the phone could get online was through wifi. If you find a way to get a free data plan let me know!

I just found out the name of the phone "HTC Touch Pro 2" it has windows mobile on it.
And there's some sort of hack that let's the users to connect to the internet with it with the SIM card without data plan.
