I doubt Dell makes their own LCD's, they probably buy panels from someone...possibly sony or samsung. I love my Samsung so much, I won't buy another brand.

I have heard good reviews about that dell widescreen you are reffering to. It was also included in a DIY in PC Magizine on a high end 1800 dollar system.

I just bought a HP f2105->
21" widescreen, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 12ms response time, max res 1600x1080...... I love it to death, the picture is incredibly sharp and clear..no problems w/ "tha darkness" on movies or games. It also comes w/ a sound output and 2 usb ports. I was trying for higher res, but would have had to buy a 24". Only 3" bigger and almost double the price....no tnx Gaming never looked soo good
