Default Powersave constantly

Hey guys,

My friend is having a bit of trouble so I decided to bring it here. This is what he told me:

Basically, he turns his computer and monitor on, and without even showing BIOS, his monitor enters Powersave Mode. He has tried everything to make it show the screen but to no avail. It's an older CRT monitor and he's never had a problem with it until he unplugged it from his house and moved it into his apartment. It's hooked up fine and everything.

Any ideas on what could be wrong? This seems a bit weird!

Try another monitor. Something could have came loose inside the computer. There's a few possibilities.
