Default samsung monitors

Is this a good monitor? My sig rig should have no problem pushing it maxed out, right?

Its an awesome monitor and your rig can easily handle that resolution.

I have a 206BW (same resolution, 20inch) and my rig can handle it.

Barring the politics around what panel you end up getting, the 226BW has arguably been considered the best 22" since it's release ...

Here's more on the "panel issue": http://www.behardware.com/articles/6...e-verdict.html

...

There are some newer versions of the same monitor which are supposedly even better ... but you'll pay for it: 226CW

Reportedly ... and other than offering some color improvements ... the 226CW was released to squelch all the panel business associated with the 226BW.

With 2 8800GTX's, I think you should shoot for a 24" monitor.

Right on, buddy.

I have a 225BW, and it's amazing. The 226BW's are even better. Go for it!

The reason I asked was, previously I bought a HP 19 widescreen desktop doesn't look so hot. So I figured maybe it was the video card. So I slapped one of my GTX's in and the same issue. I didn't realize it at first because it's my sons. but man I wanted to take it back, it just looks like #$%^. Thats the reason I am buying this new one, so I can give my sone the one I use now. (Xerox 19" XG-90D is awsome) I hope the new one looks the same or even better. Thanks guys.
