Hey I've got an older 15" LCD screen here, and it's making this REALLY annoying high pitched wine/squeal.
Any ideas on what it is and how to fix it? O and also it goes on and off randomly.

99% of the time when an LCD starts giving off a squal you have a cap that is busted, or trying to bust. Sometimes they'll continue to work for years, but usually within a month or so you'll hear a resounding "pop" and then you can junk the monitor cause it's not worth having it repaired.

Jiggle the power cord on the monitor.

I am sure its not a matter of the power cord because i have tried atleast 10 of them.

Don't bother getting it repaired, just buy a new one.

If you're super ultra leet and have a good spot soldering iron you can replace the cap yourself (only cost effective solution), but you're just ask likly to burn the board up as you are to fix it cause they make everything so close together in this day and age.

Well my old CRT T.V did that, if it was tilted forward it made a screeching sound and I pushed it back and it stopped.
