Default HDTV help

okay so i used to use my 32" HDTV as my monitor not too long ago and then i switched over to my 17" AOC monitor because i got tired of using such a huge screen. so today i decided i wanted to use my tv again because i have to watch a regents prep video to study and i'd rather use my tv then this small screen... so i hooked it back up and it says Not Support. i tried fooling around with the settings in the Nvidia control panel but all i could get out of it was only a extremely enlarged portion of the screen.

Long story i know, but help me fix this please >_<
