Its nice trust me.

This is the important part!

The 931BW isn't very abundant in the US but it is very nice. I wouldn't recommend it however because the standard for a 19" should be 1650x1050 so look for something with better resolution for the size. Samsung does make a 24" 1080P which I am looking into.
Cheers

I'd like to think I have a decent amount of knowledge regarding displays. I've studied a good deal about the different aspects of a monitor, and came to the decision I made with this based on my priorities. The monitor I was to choose would be used as a PC monitor with light pc gaming, and a console gaming display. For gaming purposes, my highest priority was input lag. The monitor I chose has very little input lag but I also chose it because it is 16:9. I feel that if i were to purchase a 16:10 monitor when i'm mainly going to play console, i would be wasting money due to the lost real estate of the letterboxing(I would be playing on an approximately a 6% smaller screen if I had gone with a 16:10 over a 16:9). After reading the review from digitalversus.com, I was expecting some pretty bad colors, but to my surprise they weren't as bad as described. The only settings I needed to change were turning the brightness down to 80%, and switching the display mode from PC to HD(only when gaming and using HDMI. If you use VGA then keep PC, but with HDMI the pc mode has washed out colors). One thing I will comment on is the sound. This monitor comes with speakers, but they are VERY tinny. If you want to watch movies or play games on this, you want at least a 10 buck set of computer speakers(even those will be a big improvement over the stock monitor speakers). Right now I'm using full sized headphones for my sound while my 2.1 swan m10 speaker system is being shipped. One nice thing about the monitor in the case of sound is it has a line-out port, so while I switch from using it for the PC to xbox gaming, I don't have to change any cables or inputs since the sounds go to the monitor than flow out from the line-out jack. Monitor's that don't have that port, well, I would have to change my headphones or speakers from system to computer every time. It's nice that that isn't the case. I think that about covers everything. I had an even larger write-up, but nearing the end i hit the wroooong key on my keyboard and it changed to a different page, and my entire writeup was lost(I hate when that happens).
If you guys have any more questions regarding this monitor or other monitors, I will be happy to give you my 2 cents.

I've only had this monitor for 2 days now but been gaming really hard on it. I haven't had a dead pixel or any type of defect at all. I didn't need to mess with any settings yet to make the picture look better. It's a very bright monitor and upgrading from a 17" to this is like going from a tiny tv to a theater sized screen. I can run at max settings in my games and it's just a joy to be able to do that with this monitor. I got it on sale from newegg and the price is perfect for something this great. I'd recommend this monitor for anybody who needs a serious upgrade from something small as my old monitor was.

Straight up godly. Makes all of my other monitors look like women when compared to this Samsung. Resolution is sweet. When it's completely black you can kindof see some light bleeding through on the sides. Viewing angle isn't terrible. The stand is a little bit terrabad, but get over it; I bought it for the screen. No dead pixels. Got on-sale for $200 with $20 mir. They just sent me an email honoring mir, unlike 90% of all other companies out there.

I love this monitor, it's got a height adjustable stand and it's an S-IPS panel. I pick this up used for $180. The only problem is that it's a bit small, but I'm strapped on cash right now.
