I got it for like $300 so it was an amazing deal. I've never had an LCD before this one, and I'm never going back. It's so bright!!! Much <3 ****

The Art of Not Being Seen

1. Monitor Manufacturer: Hyundai/Imagequest
2. Model: LD90+ Black 3. Screen size: 19" 4. Refresh Rate in ms.: 8ms 5. Max resolution supported: 1280x1024 6. Input - DVI or VGA or both: Both 7. Brightness: 300 cd/m2 8. Contrast Ratio: 700:1 9. Dot Pitch in mm.: 0.294mm I am very satisfied with this LCD. I play all the Half-Life products, BF2 and 1942, and other games, plus all my work related activities and I still have to find something to complain about. Bought it from Newegg and it came without any dead pixels. The onboard speakers point backwards and are completely useless to me; although an office user will be satisfied with the sound.

Nice monitor I dont play alot of games but they seem to do well un the ones I play. The contrast ratio seems a little off, I have seem 500:1 models that look like deeper blacks. Would I but the same one again? No Why? I would look for something a little better for the price. ****

DVI & VGA 7. 270 cd/m2 8. 700:1 9. 0.294mm pixel pitch Ordered next day! will update when i get it - went with the lowesr Ms i could find with a monitor that had been tested with todays games. Lots of excellent reviews. I read that ms directly reflects the max FPS an LCD may handle - the 16 ms monitors tested had a fax framerate per second (FPS) of 80 FPS - i just installed a 512 MB nvidia 7800 GTX so i wanted something that i could hit 100 with in BF2.

Other than that I think it is an astounding value at about $480 on newegg. My brother was planning on buying this monitor too but I told him to buy the $370 VX922 which is the same but with 650:1 contrast ratio, 270cd/m2 brightness and with a 2ms response time and we are going to trade! I will post back here once I have that monitor in my possession as well :P ****

Brightness: 300 cd/m2 8. Contrast Ratio: 700:1 *9. Dot Pitch in mm. 0.294 mm AMAZING Monitor! Absolutely no ghosting at all, colors are extremly good, built in speakers are average, but good for if you have no room for good speakers, or for the average office/home user. Gaming on this monitor has been a dream, the colors and textures look even better than my old 19" CRT monitor. I have not tried the VGA connector yet, but using the DVI text is VERY clear, and is very easy on my eyes. Another thing to note, is that this monitor is VERY thin, I have SOOOO much more room on my desk now. I would recommend this monitor to anyone ![]() EDIT: Forgot to mention zero dead pixels

__________________2. Dell UltraSharp 2001FP 3. 20.1 inch display 4. ~16ms Refresh Rate 5. 1600 x 1200 Native Resolution 6. Both DVI and VGA connections available. (DVI used) 7. 250 cd/m² Brightness 8. 400:1 Contrast Ratio 9. 0.225 mm pixel pitch **** --- What's in the box? 1 Driver CD, 1 DVI cable, 1 Power cord (with the power box in the middle of the wire...so it only takes up one power socket instead of covering two in the process.), the flatpanel, and the detachable telescopic mount. --- Pro's and Con's -- Pro's • No ghosting seen during gaming or DVD playback. • Very clean looking. No obnoxious chunks of plastic hanging from the bottom. Hence the very reason why I buy Dell flatpanels. • Telescopic mount allows for up/down, tilt, swivel, and rotation of screen. • Picture in Picture (PIP) capabilities and various PIP options of how to display it. Nice way to watch TV while using my system. • Good adjustment options for non-DVI imputs. • Zoom options. • USB inputs on the side for easy access. • Approximately 120° viewing angle (left to right) • Very easy to set up and get going. -- Con's • No advanced adjustment options for your DVI input. • Could be brighter. • Non-standard mount interface on the back. I'd like to mount this panel to a wall, but I would have to modify the mount to fit a VESA mount. • No high speed USB ports. Since most people would probably use these USB ports to connect a camera or a thumbdrive, high speed USB ports would have been better. • Picture brightness decays near the corners of the display. Usually this isn't very obvious unless your looking at a bright image. • Monitor screen stretching is really poor. Using your video card stretch will give you a much better picture. • Purely using this to watch TV will let you down. Then again, this panel isn't really ment to be your primary TV set. --- Games played on this panel • Doom 3, Half-Life 2, Quake 4, World of Warcraft, Black and White 2, ElderScrolls: Morrowind, FEAR, Civilization IV, Onimusha 3, various PopCap games, and more. --- Devices that have been attached to this panel • Playstation 2, Xbox360, Cablebox. In the end, when it comes to the "Bang for your Buck," I really like this panel. The panel enclosure itself looks great and I haven't seen better yet. The display itself would suit any gamer in my opinion. If you happen to do Graphic Arts or high-end 3D work, you're probably better off getting a flatpanel or a CRT that's built solely for that function. <-- But if you happen to do those things just for fun, not professionally, then this panel would suit you as well. I've seen a lot of flatpanels out there and I think this is the best "all around" 20 inch available. **** EDIT: My flatpanel has started to get image burn-in. Even though my panel was at it's lowest brightness, images would still get burned-in if left in the same spot for over 10 minutes. I called Dell and they are sending me a replacement. If your Dell flatpanel starts doing this also, just be aware that the Dell tech guy will make you do a whole bunch of pointless things to "verify" it. My Dell tech told me to: unplug and reconnect the panel, remove and reinstall the drivers, reset the panel to its factory default, try the panel on another system, start the system in Safe Mode. <-- All of which have nothing to do with a burn-in. So, just go with the flow...
