The moniter is great although mine did come with 1 dead pixel that you barely notice way down in the corner right above the system tray . this moniter is great for games, keeps up with everquest II and such even in battles with major effects everywhere! definantly the best moniter i've ever owned

I love this monitor. I purchased it from Costco after my 15'' LG died, and it's awesome. All-metal construction and very thin, it looks so sleek. It's good at gaming, as long as you don't have any strong light projected directly up on the screen (i.e. stupid sunlight).

I've never heard of Envision, but with the experience I've had with this monitor, I think I'll go for Envision next time, too. No dead pixel what-so-ever. Play CS:S, BF2, Halo, etc. No ghosting.

Great screen for a great price. Play quake 4, empire at war, battlefield 1942, and ageIII with no ghosting. No built in speakers with a sleek black color. only thing to complain about is the 8ms sticker they put on the top right corner of the screen. (not actually on the screen but on the plastic.) lol no dead pixels also

Finally got myself an LCD and I'm still getting used to it. Going from a 15" CRT (viewable less than 14" =/ ) to a 19" LCD is a pretty big difference. Even though this is a VGA LCD, it's still plenty sharp. It also can go alot brighter than I would ever use it, so thats fine.

Excellent colours, good menu system, and it even has a dedicated button it to switch between 4 setups, Text - which sort of puts a dark greenish twinge and sharpens things; Internet - which lowers the contrast and brightness and makes things easy on the eyes, Entertainment - which brightens up the screen for watching the movies and playing dark games; and Custom - where you can set up your own specs for it.

The only ghosting, if I can even call it that, is in Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, if i spin really fast things go slightly blurry. Other tested games are: CoD, CoD2, NfS:MW, WE8:I, AA, Mafia, Battlefield 1942, Deus Ex: Invisible War, and a couple others, all of which have run awesomely.

The monitor itself looks damn sexy, and I love it to death. Definately recommended, especially since it's pricetag is $299.99 CAD.

EDIT: Forgot to add there's not a dead pixel anywhere on the screen, not a one .

This is my 1st LCD monitor and I could not be much happier. I find myself digging out old games and palying them, this monitor looks so good!

I bought this with the intention of watching DVDs, since my HT player died I had been watching movies on my 17" CRT, which soon went on the fritz as well(funny how electronics sometimes go out in twos or threes).

Wrote up a short review here.

First off the price was just too good to pass (199$ + free ship). The widescreen makes it look huge!; no gohsting while playing BF2. Not a single dead pixel. Great overall LCD.

Awesome monitor, no ghosting at all, works without a flaw. The contrast ration is awesome and I can play battlefield 2 for hours without hurting my eyes. Just ordered one DVI cable for my monitor and GPU, instead of using RGB.

I love this monitor never had a problem, all my games look great no ghosting. I wasn't sure about it at first. Lets face it Gateway isn't know for good products, but they knocked it out of the park on this one. The price is right running at about $499. I totally recommend this monitor.
