Awesome monitor, no ghosting at all in counterstrike source or in battlefield 2 or any other game ive played on it, very nice looking, it has a powered usb hub on it, 2ports on the back and 2 on the side, all 2.0, the monitor slides up and down, side to side, horizontal to vertical, and looks sharp, nice control panel settings on it to, easy to use, not very heavy, very sturdy.. no speakers on it.. setup is very easy, the screen clips onto the base very nicely and can be removed in a snap.. 10/10

The 1280x1024 is the best resolution on it by far, looks nice and crisp with no rough edges or blurryness, lower resolutions look kinda rough when it comes to text and webpages, but on it's rated resolution (1280x1024) i cant complain. There were also NO DEAD PIXELS at all on the monitor!

Feel free to delete this since it doesn't stick to your form... but I just want to throw out there that www.pcworld.com has top 10s for different sizes of LCDs (Great reviews there) and www.pcmag.com also has great reviews. No dis to any members here but I'd trust their reviews over a user's opinion :P. Sometimes people are more or less sensitive to quality or brightness than others, so what would bug certain users would be bliss to another.

Great monitor, large viewing angle, back-lit, vivid colors and stuff. great for gaming (25ms hardly notice). no ghosting what so ever. comes with an auto-adjest button, and 4 user profiles. mine is black, no speaker, no USB, just a monitor and a stand.
played CS:S, HL2, DiabloII, StarCraft, WarCraft, Face of Mankind
no flicker, no refresh lines(unlike CRT monitors) no dead pixels
great for stallers (i use it 10hrs a day), large viewing angle (170)
10 out of 10 for sure

Being my first LCD, and moving "up" from a 19" CRT Viewsonic A90f+, I could not believe how well the LCD performed with games, even given its higher response time. I play Doom3, Halflife2, Farcry, City of Heroes, Painkiller, Max Payne 2...(the list goes on). If I do see what I think is ghosting, it brief and barely noticeable. The LCD could be brighter and have higher contrast, but with that being said, it is very easy on the eyes for extended viewing. It has a diffuser on the front of the panel that makes it look like glass, which clarifies the picture, but also will reflect anything that is behind the viewer and can be annoying if the monitor is tiled toward the ceiling too much and you have overhead lights on.

This monitor blows my mind.. when i first purchased it i thought that the 250 brightness would be dim, but it is actually brighter than i would have liked. no problem there. this forum is missing something, DOT PITCH.. because this monitor has a .264 dot pitch, which almost NO other 19" models have. it shipped from newegg with 2 dead pixels, however the pixels are so tiny i cant find them without going to extremes (turning EVERYTHING to black and searching the screen in one inch at a time increments.

the monitor hooked up super easy, plugged it in, hooked up the DVI connector, and it worked awesome right off the bat. NO ghosting whatsoever, and i play numerous games, such as halo, wolfenstein enemy territory, need for speed underground, prince of persia warrior within, sims 1 and 2, unreal tournament 2004, farcry, max payne 1 and 2, grand theft auto san andreas, simcity 4000, splinter cell, and some others. never noticed any ghosting. halo was BAD on my other 15", but none at all on this. it has onboard speakers, but ive never used them. great look to it as well, base is nice and solid, made of solid steel i believe. exellent monitor. check it out in my rig showcase
