Hi.. Im australian and i have about 200$ to spend lol, its about 195$ usd.
__________________Im looking for a 22" LCD one with 5ms response or better, maximum res of 1440+ and in my price range. If possible, i really like the design of these monitors ![]() I like the black really thin looking monitors, i hate monitors who have alot of usesless bordered stuff. Cause i might possibly put 2-3 together in the future, so thin is quite better. I dont think i have the right amount of money to get one of these brand new, i might consider buying second hand if i have to. Anyone know any good places i can get it from? perferbly in australia.

ummm, i can't say for australia since i don't stay there, but i can say that Yuraku are cheap, and excellent. Mine (other rig) cost me £125, and most monitors for that price go for about £180... you might want to look out for em.
do 22" monitors come with a 1440x1900 res? mine is 1680x1050 and looks bad if i downscale it to that res...

as much as i like CRT's because of the response rate as im a hardcore gamer, i also like liquid display and very nice looks along with my case. Bringing a huge CRT to a lanparty or traveling from place to place as much as i do with my computer, a CRT is out of the question.

Are you meaning in AUD or USD?
If it AUD, the cheapest 22" is AU$300 and its of the brand Chimei (Close to that, they were called CMV afaik) which I know is a good brand, as I had one that worked for 3 years, until it fell off my desk thanks to loud music making desk vibrate like crazy + a pet bumping it. If you want 1440x900, Why don't you go 19"? Its a lot cheaper.

It is awesome, the specs are very good and the price is quite good also.
For the calibration/test see on www.xbitlabs.com the monitor tests, they have a very comprehensive review. Cheers! Xbit review here for the 22" lineup Samsung 2243BW review
