So currently I have a: HP f2105

Would I have to get a TV too, or could I hook it up to my computer monitor? And if so is there anything special I'd have to do? Thanks.

Yes you would have to buy the vga adapter for it though. Not sure where to get them but it is an official microsoft accesory so probably anywhere.
