Default Which monitor for $700-$800

Might be able to go a bit more, but I woke up today and my monitor had NINE dead pixels, no clue what happened. (not stuck, tried repairing) so Samsung is already sending me a new one, however I think i'm just gonna sell it as "new" and buy a new monitor that doesn't have as much input lag as the 244t. (This monitor has about 60ms input lag and its very noticable in first person games)

I just have no clue on which one to get.

Requirements:
1) Widescreen
2) 24" (1920x1200)
3) 6ms or faster (prefer faster)
4) 1000:1 contrast
5) A reputable brand, no value brands
6) 178/178 viewing angles or around there.

Thanks.

For that much.... why not move to 26"?

For the record, a 26" 1920x1200 has about the same pixel density as a 19" 1280x1024. If a 19" looks fine to you, a 26" will be fine as well.

I want to stay 24". Thats my max budget, I don't need to spend it all.

Basically I want the best 24" on the market for that price.

I think another Samsung would be the best bet, just one without so much input lag.

Thats the thing, the 245T is the only samsung 24" monitor i'm seeing that is better than mine, and it basically has the same specs as this one... and the lag input too.

244T hasnt been made for about a year, so i'm hoping samsung just sends me a 245T... but I doubt it.

The 245T has better viewing angles than the 245BW, at Newegg I'd go with the 2493HM if you want the 245BW, it has more features plus built-in speakers. The 245T is basically the same as the 2493HM, only with better viewing angles as I said above. The 245T also doesn't have built-in speakers.
