Hey I have a computer monitor that has DVI and VGA inputs however my computer only has VGA inputs if I get a VGA to DVI adapter and plug my monitor in through the DVI port and have the other end in my computer through VGA will I see much of a difference compared to VGA to VGA?

Yep what he said. Now if your computer had a DVI output you might notice a difference using the DVI.
