Default DVI switch -> PS3 + PC Question

Shopping around for a DVI switch and I found this one

http://www.ecost.com/detail.aspx?edp...ci_sku=3522723

It says the connections are DVI-I. Right now, I have an HDMI -> DVI from the PS3 to the LCD. I want to add a DVI-DVI from my PC to the LCD.

The Olevia LCD connection just lists it as DVI. The cable that works with it is this one :

Question is, whats the difference for DVI-I and the cable I already have, and are they compatible?

DVI-I has pins for both analog and digital signal (DVI-A and DVI-D). That's generally want you want on a switch and it's also what modern video cards have. Your cables are DVI-D and they're compatible.
