I know, you make a valid point.
However, I call it True or Full:
1. That's what all the stores call 1920x1080p.
2. It's the maximum definition a TV will hold/project, so in a sense it is "Full".

But ok, from now on i'll be clearer so as not to confuse anyone.
(I guess not everyone is as on-the-ball about Audio-Visual as we are, being on a computer website.)

P.S Still want that TV though, I have a full 5.1 surround sound system, (NO, it is not a crappy Sony/Pioneer setup, i hate those $500 setups) and all I have to view movies on is a 30cm CRT TV , I hate it with a will

Ok, Fox, this isn't our thread, so if you want to continue this either PM me or give me an IM address

Peace !out!

It'll still look better on a monitor or higher definition LCD.
Besides, GH isn't that good quality a game, try to play Crysis on that TV, and then see how good it looks, you'll be screaming for the monitor I previously mentioned

I have my HTPC hooked up to a 32" CRT, and it is just fine for watching TV and movies, but trying to use it as a monitor is horrible.

Exactly, it supports TV and Movies because that's what it's designed to play.
But new Hi-res games look terrible on them, and that's why your better off getting a proper Monitor, that supports very high resolutions.

Ok, being realistic, it will look pretty crappy in comparison to a good computer monitor. I used a 20" tube TV as my monitor for some simply stuff such as movies and it worked decently but if you want to play games on it, it will be too pixely and not crisp. I recommend you not even bother unless it is just for movies and presentations.

[edit: Also, I ran it at 1024x768 I think ,or 800x600 but either way, it wasn't worth using for more than a movie..]

Yep!. My old 23 TV ran 800x600 with some clear visible sharpness. 640x480 runs better though
