I would recommend the Samsung 226BW, 2ms response and 3000:1 contrast!

That buzzing noise might just be a problem with the early models.... ive read loads of reviews with people mentioning about it, thats was 1 of the reasons why i was holding back on buying this monitor.

I'll probs order it today as ive sold my old dell 19inch so im having to use my laptop (No gamming)

I just bought the 2253BW yesterday!! It's a TON better than my old samsung 19" 931b and my dad's new 22" gateway monitor.

TAKE THE TIME TO CALIBRATE THE COLOR LEVELS!! Actually look it up and do it properly. It's REALLY worth it. It's almost like looking at everything in person cause the colors are so brilliant on the samsung. I didnt use the Dynamic Contrast Option cause it makes it impossible for adjusting colors properly and also the Magicolor feature made stuff look really off hue so I ditched that too. Installing the driver and the software just messed up color profiles and made picture viewing on Windows Photo Gallery and photoshop editing messed up. Dont need drivers for monitors anyways. Just Plug it in and dont mess with the CD if you do get this thing. Just rely on the nvidia control panel if you actually need it. Its the exact same thing as what their software does for less load on your computer! Anyways i dont regret it at all. Just that i find myself looking at the old photos on my computer ALL OVER AGAIN cause they look AMAZING now LOL. NO JOKE
