Apparently its the luck of the draw if you get a good 2253BW or not, ive just read that 2 different company's make the screens, 1 company makes the good ones and the other makes the bad ones (backlight bleeding, buzzing noise). I hope i get one of the good ones, ill send it back if not

Best gaming monitor that I have owned EVER!

Uhh...i have the 226, and it's nothing special. That's 3000:1 dynamic, it's real contrast is 1000:1 IIRC which isn't great at all. 2ms response isn't needed, as the monitor only has a 60Hz refresh rate, meaning anything less than 1000/60 or 16.67ms isn't needed, as pixels aren't going to be changing in the middle of frames. It's just a cheap TN panel IMO, and that's why i'm upgrading to a 1080p TV. I'm sure it'll be a night and day difference.

Back light is bad with 2253bw.You don't notice it in windows though but it's noticable sometimes.

Different color lines on the top and bottom, should be all the same.

That backlight bleeding is bad...

Will i notice a difference going from 75Hz refresh rate to 60Hz which is the max refresh rate of the 225BW at 1680x1050 ?
