I vote for the Scepter since it has a much better contrast ratio (4000:1 to 1000:1) as well as response time (2ms to 5ms)

I picked up this monitor for $290 shipped sometime back, and I must say it's amazing... IIRC I read that LCD makers have an over supply of panels. So I'd say hold out for a *****in deal on either the sammy or Benq. Oh and avoid 1900x1080 like the plague. 1900x1200 = mo betta. :P

A buddy of mine almost sold his Gateway 24" here. I had to quickly change his mind as it has a Samsung PVA panel found in the 245T.
Corrected.
The 245T is to expensive for what it does. unless you have like a PS3/360/PC/second PC connected to it...

The 2493HM does the work really great and have good view angles too.

+3 for the Samsung for the simple fact that besides LG, they are the other other LCD panel producers in the world. Their quality and reliability is already renowned, so that's a given.
