Default Stutter playing 1080p, Blu-Ray

Ok, so I've had my Samsung 40" LCD 1080p @ 100Hz for about a month now, but just recently hooked my PC up to it.

I also recently acquired an LG GGC-H20L Blu-Ray drive.

I have the latest Graphics Drivers, latest motherboard drivers, latest firmware etc...
Only thing not perfectly up to date is BIOS. (But it's pretty recent)

Now, either playing the disc itself or playing it from a ripped ISO image the video playback stutters.
I play with WMP with K-Lite Mega Codec pack installed. (Video is Mpeg TS)

Playing the intro to Casino Royal for those that have seen it shakes and stutters. E.G. when all the "bullets" (represented by Suit emblems) are flying around, they stutter while flying.

The rig the Blu-Ray drive is in is my own (Sig Rig), and the CPU usage never exceeds 55% while playing video.

I have looked around for answers (That's when I updated everything) and have found no solutions, hopefully you guys had this issue and solved it.

So, do you need any additional info or can you help me as is, all help and pointing in the right direction is appreciated.

Thank you,
- R34P3R

Not entirely sure about decoding, I just installed K-Lite Codec pack and use WMP to play the video. (I only just got it so I rushed in you see, no other Video playback or Game has ever stuttered before on my PC)

Cyberlink PowerDVD did come with the package, but every time I attempt to play a Blu-Ray it crashes. (Un-installed/re-installled, no luck.)

Give vlc media player a shot; it's very good. However if it's a hardware or driver issue that won't solve it.

When i recently played Transformers on blue ray, I use winamp, works if not try reinstallation of the codecs. K-lite is not very good in my opinion.

VLC can't playback Blu-Ray yet.

Will give it a try, does it need any codecs? (What is a good Codec pack, K-Lite hasn't failed me yet)

i suggest rip the blu ray's then encode them to any H.264 format and play with divx player or any other player.

CCCP is the best codec pack around. I'm pretty sure Media Player Classic Home Cinema will play blu-ray.

get the latest cccp beta and install it then:

Step 1. Open mpc and go to options>Playback. Make sure that ”Auto-Load subtitles” is checked this prevents DirectVobSub in loading. This may have a negative impact on performance.

Step 2. Now go to output and pick WMR7 (windowed)/WMR9 (windowed) for xp and “EVR Custom Pres.” for Vista/Win7. Set EVR buffer at the lowest value.

Step 3. Next go to Internal Filters. Make sure that under ”Source Filters” ”Matroska”, ”Ogg” og ”MP4/MOV” is unchecked. Under ”Transform Filters” make sure that ”H264/AVC (DXVA)” and ”H264/AVC (FFmpeg)” is checked.

Step 4. in this last step we most make sure that there isnt any filters
conflicting with DXVA. Go to ”External Filters” here click the ”Add Filter” button. choose ”ffdshow Video Decoder”

And block it.

Done! now the way you test that it's working is by..Open an HD video.
Rightclick on the videoscreen as shown below. Pick ”Filter” then ”MPC Video Decoder”.

If it looks like on the picture you're running DXVA acceleration.

....

Picture enhancement:

Step 1. Again rightclick on the filmscreen. Click "Shaders" -> "Combine Shaders".

Step2. Add 16-235 -> 0-255, sharpen complex & deinterlace (blend).

You should be able to see the change right away.

These cards will be able to do hw acc. (this last bit may take a a little bit of power
from your graphic card but you should be able to run it):

ATI card:
Desktop Card: HD 38xx, 36xx HD, HD 34xx, HD 26xx and HD 24xx.
Mobility cards: HD 36xx, 34xx HD, HD 26xx, 24xx HD, HD 23xx,
Chip Sets: 780G - Only phenom, Radeon HD 4xxx HD

nVidia cards:
- All GeForce 9xxx cards - mobile and desktop.
- All GeForce 8xxx cards - mobile and desktop (8800GTX and GTS with the G80 Core are excluded.)
- All GeForce 2xx cards.

Intel card:
Intel G45 IGP - (Only on Windows Vista.)

Hope this works for you mate

Edit: Just found the guide in english..not the danish that i've translated from
maybe more understandable:

Another guide different approach:

If this doesnt work then i believe powerdvd also is good at decoding
