I switched from a 22" sammy to the 28" hanns-g and I LOVE it. Great picture imo. The white is very white though, but of course you can tone that down to your liking. I recommend the hanns-g all the way. IT'S HUGE!!

I would go with the samsung, better pixil density. Also, the "xelerate" tech is likely just really aggressive overdrive. I can have some nasty side effects such as motion blur in front of your image (note poor response time and motion blur are not the same thing, though they do somtimes appear together)

i had a Hanns 28', returned it the next, day could not stand the whiteness, even after calibrating....especially for movies, I went and purchased my Samsung, which was not only smaller but an extra 100.00. I still own it. =] But thats my take on it, im very picky when it comes to color.
