Ok so I checked Sam's club and they sell the P2350 for 200 and in best buy they sell a P2370 for 270. What is the difference between the two? I mean they both have the same size, same resolution, same contrast ratio......

Oh and I also wonder what is 16:10 ratio and 16:9 aspect ratio? Which one is more wide screen and which one is more better to get? Thanks.

And what is that monitor driver CD? Do I need it? What does the driver do? Is it just the same thing just reinstalling? Thanks.

The P2370 uses an external power supply so it's quite a bit slimmer than the P2350 (uses an internal power supply). Reading over the specs they are equal except everywhere except for the brightness, but the P2370 in turn consumes less power (30W versus the P2350's 40W). There is no mention of a VGA port or HDCP support for the P2370. One other thing, you can't use a wall mount with the P2370.
16:10 and 16:9 are screen size ratios. It's personal preference really, but 16:10 monitors can do anything 16:9 can. 16:10 is just as wide as 16:9 just a little bit taller so it will be less rectangular and slightly more square looking. You will also have more screen space with a 16:10. If you watch alot of movies you'll have a bigger black bars on a 16:10 monitor. Alot of people never bother with the driver CD since monitors are pretty much plug and play 99% of the time, but it doesn't hurt to install the drivers and/or any software that may have come with it.

go for the 200 dollar one, the extra 70 really isn't worth it. What the guy posted before me is all right.
__________________Honestly more power consumption usually means brighter picture ![]() Most monitors are plug and play and don't need the CD, but if your comp is old it might need the driver for the CD. You'll find out when you plug in. 16:10 is cooler imo just cuz it's taller, but both are wide screen. Difference is vertically.

Samsung P2370 Specifications The P2350's brightness is 300cd/m² and the P2370's brightness is 250cd/m²; the P2370 in return consumes less power. If I were you I'd just pick up the P2350 and wouldn't even look twice at the P2370.
