you can get a DVI to hdmi cable from your local radio shack or a hdmi cable and a dvi to hdmi adapter. You shouldnt really need any programs.

You shouldn't need any program, you can do it through nvidia control panel or the normal "Right-click" display settings.
As for cables, you can use a vga cable if the tv supports it, an hdmi cable with a converter, or a component cable with a converter.

It looks like all you need is a DVI to HDMI adapter and HDMI cable. It might be an idea to drop the resolution down so it with show up on the screen (It was a problem I had with my card)

You will probably need 2 cables, a DVI-HDMI cable and a Y audio cable, unless you want to output 5.1, 7.1 or digital audio. What audio are you trying to output and what inputs does your TV have?

Don't go to RadioShack or Bestbuy or any B&M store...your going to pay an arm and a leg for a DVI-HDMI cable, instead go to http://www.monoprice or another online retailer.

it'll still play audio, it will just be from your computer speakers and not from your TV speakers

edit: thats if you are cloning the screen

You need a Y-Audio cable, it has 3.5mm on one end and RW on the other end...hence the Y :-)
