Default Hows this monitor look?

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/HP+-+21....tor&cp=1&lp=12

I recently purchased the Acer H233H monitor, and I find that its colors looks horrible and washed out, and the viewable part of the screen isn't even in the middle, so I am going to return it. I also found out it has a TN Display, and I was told to go for TFT.

As far as the HP monitor goes, theres no real complaints, and everybody says there's looks stunning.

I say go for it. It looks like a very nice monitor.

I'd go for something like this though...

Beautiful. I was looking at that one today while I returned my 23" HP which was only VGA. That one you chose is perfect, it has HDCP which means you're good for bluray. I ended up buying LG. The HP 'm' series are the ones to get, like the one you listed. I would have bought the 2309m but they were out of stock everywhere in UK, but if you can find it where you are, its a 23" with same spec.

Be aware that the only negative review comments for these HP monitors are glare from the high gloss reflective screen, so you might wanna consider that versus matt screens. Wouldnt have really bothered me I don't think cos they look so cool.

Thanks, I am pretty mind set on the 21.5Inch because its the only one with VGA DVI and HDMI, the 23inch Best Buy carrys is odd and only has HDMI and VGA (I have real problems getting HDMI to work well with my 4850) and slightly above budget, thanks for the info

Well if you can find the 2309m anywhere else and it's affordable, it has DVI, HDMI and VGA. But if you're set on the 21.5 then that's still a sweet monitor.

Heh yeah, well, there's only an inch or so in it, so enjoy the HP and please let me know what you think. I'm sort of regretting not waiting a bit longer and buying the HP 2309m. Not because the LG won't be a better monitor, but because I love it's looks. I'm a bit superficial, I love aesthetics. The HP's look like the expensive apple monitors a bit. Check this out, you can tell that one company must have copied the other.
