Default Which monitor would you suggest?

Hey OCN,

For my christmas build; which of the monitors would you recommend?

I will be using it for gaming and for watching blu-ray films at some point in the near future.

Option 1 / Option 2

Any other recommendations (from eBuyer) at a similar price?

Thanks in advance, Daney

I would go with option 2 if watching blu-ray is in the picture. 1920x1080 = nice!!!

Thanks for your input, +rep'd for the fast reply.

Will I notice the difference between 1680x1050 and 1920x1080 as far as Bluray/HD is concerned?

Edit: Rep'd nckid too, thanks!

Yes because blu-rays are full HD meaning 1920x1080 so if you watch on 1680x1050 monitor your missing some "picture"... not that it wont be there you just wont be watching at the optimal resolution.
