Default Samsung T220 Ideal Settings

Alright guys. As some of you know, I built a new machine a few weeks back but haven't got round to sorting out the settings for my monitor. At default, it's stupidly bright, so just wondering if anyone else has this screen and what settings they use? I've found about 3 different sets of figures on the net but some are blurry, some too dark, like really weird settings.

When I use the on-screen menus using the side buttons, there's quite a lot to adjust, so I don't know where to start really. And if Samsung TV's are anything to go by, they can be adjusted to get a far superior (and less headache inducing) picture compared to stock.

Thanks for any advice.
