every monitor is capable of 3d lol .. that one just has 120hz instead of the 60hz you see in most LCDs so it delivers 60hz per eye/ 60fps per eye.

Pretty much any game I have has 3D effects when I turn on 3D Vision Discover within the nVidia control panel. I'm only using a basic pair of 3D glasses, and not the fancy 3D Vision glasses that nVidia makes, but I have to say that the effects look pretty cool. Although with normal 3D glasses you don't get the full colour effects and everything seems to have a tint of green.

To me 3D vision is more of a gimmick, albeit a nice one.

First of all, you can't do it since you don't have nVidia. Any nVidia card will do it since it is built into the drivers, but ATi does not have this feature.

Films like Up that are in 3D will not be released in 3D on DVD since there isn't a big enough market for it. However if you use an nVidia gpu, you can simulate 3D. It will not be the same, however.

Those cheap 3D glasses will do. The nVidia special 3D glasses are different to just using normal ones with an nVidia gpu. Basically it just gives a better 3D effect. YOu need a 120hz TV for that because, as said, 60hz per eye.

You do NOT need a 120hz TV for just normal 3D glasses and the nVidia 3D drivers. Do not be fooled

The game Trackmania Nations Forever has a 3D glasses mode, you should try it out. It's a free game anyway. And yeah, cheap 3D glasses will work just fine.

If you use the cheap crap 3d glasses with the iZ3D or whatever's drivers you can get anaglyph 3d. Anaglyph sucks though and is not worth your time.

The only way to get DECENT 3d is to either buy an Nvision kit with shutter glasses and a 120Hz screen, or get an LCD with two panels and polarized lenses.

I've used both and in my opinion the technology just isn't ready for 24/7 gaming.
