I currently use the HP LP3065 and I have never had a problem with it as far as gaming goes. I personally couldnt tell you what is "best", but I would imagine that nearly all of the monitors in this category are going to fit your needs. When I purchased mine there really wasnt much of a drastic difference between brands as far as quality goes (or price for that matter).

You are going to need more under the hood in the gpu department for 2560x1600 though, another 285 will do you fine.

At that resolution with a single GTX 285 is a waste of money.

Maybe hes using some other rig for that monitor, But I second the LG really nice other really good option is the good old Samsung

Why would it struggle? Am I missing something? I've been away from comps for a while. I'm planning on either getting another one or moving to the 5800's, or fermi.
