I currently use the HP LP3065 and I have never had a problem with it as far as gaming goes. I personally couldnt tell you what is "best", but I would imagine that nearly all of the monitors in this category are going to fit your needs. When I purchased mine there really wasnt much of a drastic difference between brands as far as quality goes (or price for that matter).
__________________You are going to need more under the hood in the gpu department for 2560x1600 though, another 285 will do you fine.

i guess thats not really what he asked but a 285 is gonna struggle hard at that resolution

Maybe hes using some other rig for that monitor, But I second the LG really nice other really good option is the good old Samsung

Why would it struggle? Am I missing something? I've been away from comps for a while. I'm planning on either getting another one or moving to the 5800's, or fermi.
