That's what I was asking. Unless there's some REALLY rich ocn'ers, it's improbable that anyone here's even clapped eyes on one, let alone owned one.

thanks for everyones comments and replies.
__________________I have learned that every panel has radiation and that the CRTs have the highest among them. I still believe that even the not so expensive CRTs have better image quality than any TN panel we have here at home. Could you guys suggest a cheap to reasonably priced IPS panel? probably a 24" monitor? I was also wondering if anyone has any thoughts on the Zune HDs screen vs the iPod Touch's. If the Zune's is like three times better looking ( well at least please describe it a bit ) Thank you all.. now im gonna have a long time + repping everyone cuz you guys were all helpful in a way.

I would say that near flat screen CRTs would be better, but I suppose some of the average ones with convex screens still pull their own.

oh so is it confirmed that OLED displays have the shortest lifespan among the "lcd" lineups?

The jist of my posts on the em fields around CRTs is that it isn't an issue. You don't have to worry about safety issues with any type of monitor you buy unless you're powering it with a small nuclear generator.

i own a 22" top of the line CRT http://www.superwarehouse.com/Mitsub...P2060U/p/50064 and as well as a 3.7" OLED which is my phone Omnia HD some lcd's do lack colour/contrast but higher end models can match/beat it but it does not at all come close to a OLED tech

I did. I said most. There aren't that many that have 120 hz. I would say the majority of lcds mainstream consumers, and even enthusiasts buy do not have 120 hz. Nice CRT. Still not the top, though.

Infact, no Sony will do higher than 120Hz, even if they're marketed as 200Hz. And I don't care if you're God Himself, you cannot tell how good OLED black levels are off a 3.7" screen. That's like knowing how good a movie's going to be just by looking at the spine of the dvd case.
