Default monitor placement from couch? (drawing attached)

I'm racking my brain trying to think of what to do for a multimedia setup. Leaning towards getting a 24" high res monitor but if I'm attempting to use this as my everything and I don't know how to do it from a couch. I'll just include a diagram I made and see if anyone can come up with something better than the blank that's currently coming to mind

i had a 42in plasma as my moitor 2 feet on my desk....was great however resolution being what it was seemed a bit pixelated sometimes, not because of poor graphics, just because it was such a large screen

I don't really understand what your picture are showing? Are you using a single 24 for your PC and want to view it from a couch and your bed?

lol well those are the two different scenarios... I think I'm going to go with the 30" lg lcd to serve all purposes in one nice package.

unless there's a better idea?

I have a 32" Panasonic FullHD LCD on my wall. I can (and was) using it as a computer monitor. It's also hooked up to my 360 and it gets digital TV. I mainly use my BenQ 22" though, as it is easier to look at for extended periods whilst on the computer.

Taken about 3 months ago before I moved the 360 in here:

Looking at your drawings, I'd be more inclined to go for the first one. Dunno where your bed's gonna go though.
