New to Overclock.net
|
I am looking to replace my pair of 24" DELL 2407WFP's. At the moment I am considering this unit from the SAMSUNG...

The only advice that I would offer is to avoid any TN panels. Some people are happy with them but I just can't justify spending any significant amount of money on one.

After months of in-depth research that's the one that beat out all the other competitors for me. it's an H-IPS display which absolutely outclasses the older Sammy panel's S-PVA technology. (IMO) some links for you: TN Film, MVA, PVA and IPS - Panel Technology primer The LCD thread (Anandtech) A resolution/screensize/pixel count table and calculator from our own DH ![]() also Panel Manufacturer Database and lastly - probably the best "one stop" 24" LCD site: LCD24 has links to all the major reviews for each monitor.
