Default Dual monitors, 2nd one flickers while gaming

Setup: two 60hz refresh rate, 1 22" main asus(1680x1050). 1 17" secondary liquidvideo POS(1280x1054).

While playing most games, but not all, the second monitor flickers once every 8~ seconds. I have found no connection between the intensity of the game and the likeliness of the screen to flicker. (quake3 arena, hl 2, tf2, portal, WoW causes flickering, but crysis doesn't for example)

Any ideas on how I can fix it? It's very annoying...

Try swapping the DVI ports on the video card
if it still does it on the 17" your monitor is borked or there's a driver issue of some sort.

If it moves with the DVI port your vid card is having issues.

Are you setting your dual monitor settings in Windows or ATI CCC?

Try it in CcC to see if it still does it

if your monitor has VGA and DVI ports try a different input.

This is what I've been doing, but it's nice being able to alt tab to google something real quick ( if the game allows windowed mode, ie wow).
