Default Widescreen vs. Standard Monitors

Well, I'm not really sure how to create a Poll here to ask this question, but I guess we can do this we a show of posts.

Anyway, I know that a lot of people like Widescreen monitors for gaming and Videos, but there are also people who prefer the Standard 4:3 aspect ratio monitors.

So my question is, "What do you guys prefer?"

In my opinion, I have always had a Standard 4:3 at home and when I do see a Widescreen monitor, it feels sort of awkward. However, I'm pretty sure that I, with time, I can get over that awkward feeling and enjoy the advantages of widescreen (when it comes to gaming and videos).

Personally I like wide screen I have both set up now in dual display and the wide screen just feels better to watch. Both for games and videos if they are wide screen formatted that is. For movie I think standard you lose some of the picture over a wide screen set up. There should be a option to add a poll if you go to advance on the thread you just created cant remember exactly where but it should be in the options at top somewhere.

I like Widescreen 16:10, you don't lose as many pixels over 16:9 and it's still almost in the eyes native ratio.

I used to like fullscreen when wide was gaining popularity, now I prefer 16:10 as it gives plenty of screen real estate without sacrificing any height as 16:9 does (seems to)

Love me my 1920x1200 laptop monitor. Hardest part about getting my desktop done up will be being forced to go back to a 16:9 ratio, as a monitor with 16:10 that is decent is just too hard to find in my price range.

Gaming and movies are better on the widescreen but the biggest advantage to widescreen is productivity! I can get way more done and have multiple windows open comfortably on my widescreen that just wouldn't be possible on a standard 4:3 monitor. That is what I dual screens at work.

Also, I hate 16:9. They are making a ton of cheap 1920x1080 LCD's, so I know a lot of people have them, but they are just too short for me. 16:10 is definitely sweet spot, I am going to upgrade to 24" and you know it is going to be 1920x1200, even if I have to spend more.
