didnt work either

it didnt let me change any of the numbers

and i also tried forcing a custom resolution in regedit and it still went back to 1440x900

I remember that happening to me too, can't remember what fixed it though.

I WANT to say go back into the game or something, only just go out of it after, but I don't think that worked.

I do know going back in the game and exiting it properly will fix the res in most cases.

And you're positive you reinstalled the graphics driver correctly? (by totally uninstalling it first, reboot, etc ...)

regular ghosting is a great workaround to such unsolvable mysteries

it's a 4min daily task on my system (SSD --> Raid 5)
