That what youre looking for? EDIT: NVM, just realized VGA is analog while HMI is digital, sorry I think you're gonna need an adapter for that, last I checked they're pretty pricey too.

look on ebay, I don't know if posting ebay links is legal on here but a quick search shows me you can get a 6' one for $3.50 shipped from china

If anybody could link to a HDMI to VGA adapter I would appreciate it. That is actually what I need because my KVM switch uses VGA.

Isn't HDMI all digital? And VGA's analog? Not sure how that works.

DVI is digital too, but I have plenty of adapters for that. I imagine it works pretty much the same way.

I also was wondering about this in my thread. http://www.overclock.net/monitors-di...i-vga-rca.html
I would've thought that using two separate adapters would work. HDMI>DVI>VGA (no audio) I know there's an HP HDMI to VGA adapter that supposedly only works for their ENVY and VOODOO laptops, but I wish there was more confirmation on that. I asked an HP rep today, and she affirmed that it was so, but I don't know exactly how they'd set it up to detect only certain devices. I would test it, but it's $40. In July or something, there was a deal for $9.99 for 2. I wish I had needed to know then. |

Yep, but they don't come cheap:

I did a little bit of research, and as it turns out HDMI is an entirely digital singnal. DVI has extra pins for analog which is passes on to VGA, so HDMI>DVI>VGA won't actually work. Thanks for the help guys, I am just going to trade my 9800gt in for something else.
