I was leisurely browsing through Newegg and noticed this Asus monitor. I currently own this monitor, and I'm wondering if I would be able to notice and appreciate the difference?
Energy Savings: Dell = 40w Asus = 25w 365 days x 24 hours= 8760 total hours 8760 x (40-25) = 131.4KwH 131.4 x $0.074 = ~$9.72

If you have money burning a hole in your pocket and cannot think of anything else to spend it on, I would say go for it. 17" is way too small for a computer monitor!!!!

You monitor never goes to sleep mode?
![]() LED backlight monitors also have less noticable backlight bleeding as the lighting tends to be more even.

===================================== Edit: I saw a very nice deal on ebay and I jumped on it instead. Samsung P2370 for 100 shipped. Minor cosmetic damage. I do believe I made a nice decision.

It's the regular non-hdmi version.

LED's technically still are LCD's IIRC.

![]() You're joking, right? It's STILL AN LCD! The only thing is a different backlight style! Sigh
