Default What video card will I need to have high resolution with the projector Sony VPL-AW15?

At the moment I have the EVGA 9800 GTX. I was playing Modern Warfare 2 and I noticed a big difference between my monitor (SyncMaster T240HD) and the projector. In my monitor I was able to put the resolutions very high unlike my projector where it doesn't even get close. I'm guessing that I will need a better graphics card. Which graphics card do you guys think will be the best choice to use with this projector? Thanks in advance.

A GTX 260 or Radeon 5770 should be good.

Most likely, the projector has a lower resolution than your screen...

well that projector has a native resolution of 1280x720. The resolution of your Monitor is 1920x1200.

You will NOT need a better graphics card, a better one won't do anything except allow you to run higher settings in game. (which should be maxed out since you will be running a low resolution)

The resolution of your projector is limited by the projector itself. You will not be able to set it any higher than (insert Max resolution here). Your T240 does 1920x1200.

thank you for the quick response everyone. I tried playing in both the projector and monitor and I think I'll keep playing on my monitor it looks way better even though the wall I'm using is not even white it has like a yellowish color to it. I need to get one those white projector screens
