Default Duel Monitor Resizing

I figured since I really wasn't using my LCD Tv for much I would set it up as a second monitor.

The first monitor runs at 1920x1080 resolution, while the second one is only 1440x900 resolution. This is fine for me, but when I go into games the second monitor resizes itself and everything that I had in place on it moves around. Is there any kind of software or way so I can keep the same resolution on the second monitor while I am gaming?

The resizing is game dependent. Some will do it, some won't.
Try the game windowed and full screen and see if either of those work.

You could also try dual moitor, SLI configuration.
