hey I've been looking at getting a new monitor for quite some time now ive found this 27 inch one that looks aright http://www.lge.com/us/computer-produ...-W2753V-PF.jsp

The reviews rate it highly (not that is a major selling point) and it has good specs.
The only thing I'd be 'concerned' about is the pixel pitch, usually it's around 0.26~ but here it's 0.31. Now, all that means is the pixels are a little larger so it may not seem as sharp. It's a very good monitor though, but I'm surprised it's not 1920x1200 or something higher.

For the price, it is a good monitor. However if I were to be looking at a 24" + monitor, I would want it to be at least 1920 x 1200 resolution. Otherwise the larger size pixel may not look at sharp.
__________________On the plus side, it does have a great response time (2 ms) and a good contrast ratio. As I said earlier, its worth it for the cost.
