Would penciling in work for the vDIMM mod? Doesn't look like it. Also, any way to measure the vDIMM actual besides a multimeter (don't have one handy). Sorry for digging this one up from the depths...

Worked great for me using a #2 pencil on the resistor to the top right of the CPU socket.

Got my voltages to 1.344 under orthos load, when 1.350 was set in bios. INCREDIBLY HELPFUL MOD.

If I did the vdroop mod with a 2B pencil on my p5b deluxe, would there be any undesired effects? It seems almost too good to be true.

Alright I did vdroop the mod...But now my cpu voltage is HIGHER then the BIOS settings?? Uh...whats going on...

BIOS: 1.425
Idle 1.424
Load: 1.432

I know the purpose of the vdroop mod is to get more volts under load...but more then what is set in the BIOS??

I'm so confused....

Yea, I set mine to 1.425v as well, and under idle its 1.416v, and under load its 1.424v. Its just trial and error. Q-Tips and rubbing alcohol to remove it, and try again

I'd like to do a permanent vdroop fix on my P5B-E.

What if instead of using a 50k VR, remove the resistor and just bridge with solder? Then you got zero ohms, is that damaging in the long run?

Before 1.425@BIOS gave me 1.400@idle and 1.336@load
After HB pencil mod I get 1.416@idle and 1.424@load

I'm getting the exact same vDroop as you at the exact vCore.

Good work before

Is the vdimm measure the same for ASUS Commando?

My readout is only 1.79v but I have 2.200v in bios

ASUS PC Probe reads 2.252v for the dimms but I heard that the probe software isnt that accurat ...

EDIT: I found something like this! http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/.../t-143761.html

I think its time for some vmods
