Default Question from a n00b regarding vdroop mod~

So I have this P4P800-E Deluxe motherboard and I want to vdroop mod it. I have it set to around 1.57 volts in bios. At load it drops close to a tenth lower(around 1.47) and is annoying/unstable, because I know I don't need to nor want to put that much voltage to overclock from 3 to 3.6 ghz.

On this ADP3180 chip, i've researched that the Vdroop is controlled by pin #17 (CSSUM) and #18 (CSCOMP).

So I have all the basic info on location. But, just to be precise, what exactly do I connect to what? Do I basically take two insulated wires... soldier one to a green point, soldier that to a basic 28k resistor, then soldier other side of the resistor to other wire to the other green point?

i had this mod done and it worked wonders.. the green spots are the best place to go i think.. but man its small.. supersmall .. even with the magnifing goggles you can use to soilder and stuff its still hard to see.. but yes.. you put a wire end to each of those spots.. and then connect them to the post on the resistor.. i used one from radioshack i think i used a 50k pot.. make sure you measure out the resistance .. with this mod you can get stable really easy with a lot of cpus i used a p4 2.4a and got to 4.05 stable as can be because of that mod

no problem if you doubt your skills you can always goto a local electronic repair shop and have one of them do it for ya.. shouldnt cost much just tell them what you need where you need it and how much resistance it should measure and they will get ya straight
