Vdroop fix for EVGA 680i rev A1
I'm currently running an E6600 in an EVGA 680i rev. A1 board and was looking for some info on a Vdroop mod to stabalize vcore. I've searched around and found some info on ASUS boards and the older EVGA 680i. But not for mine. Anyone have info on this?

the A1's OC the Q4's better than the previous 680i revisions...sometimes going into the 450mhz FSB range with a Q6600..etc, but the answer is YES, you can perform the GTLv mod on any of the 680i's.
*So far I have been asked to mod, two users mobo's for them..I want to buy one and mod/test it first to make sure it is worth the time/effort involved.

Oh yeah. they OC great (475 FSB so far @ 1.375vcore)

Thanks to Treatment X I finally have the vdroop mod for the eVGA rev A1 board. I just tested it out and my board has no vdroop. I have it set in bios at 1.35v, speedfan and CPUZ show it as 1.34v and 1.336v repectively. I then ran Orthos and saw no drop at all in the vcore, it never even fluctuated!
