Default Please help me,pleeaase?! i wanna rais the volts.

hi.i want to raise the cpu volts on my system but i cant because my cpu is locked.does anyone know how to perform a volt mod on my mobo?see my system for mobo details.

The CPU is not voltaged locked. That is a motherboard issue. You have a SiS which are NOT overclock friendly chipsets.

it says in my mobo manual that i can edit volts and cpu multipliers only if i have a prescot proc with the feaures available,my celery doesnt allow me to change either of the two i mensioned..

Your motherboard is crap for overclocking, either get a better board or make do.

you guys are right, BUT

witht eh celly d you cannot change voltage on some mobo's and on the SAME mobos you can change voltage with P4. dont ask me why, my bro had the same problem.

btw you dont need much voltage, my brother had his 2.9 at 4.4 stable with no voltage increase, but he had air cooling and it was 80C

im not sure on that particular mobo. before doing this, i have a queston (not to insult but i am serious) what experience have you had with electronics? cause voltmodding the TINY lines on a mobo aint easy...not even as easy as voltmodding a GFX

lol.i do have some experience.i've fixed my aunt's shop's cash registers already.i had to soldier ect.i've also fixed a tv a radio lol even my ps2 had a loose wire and i fixed it.and i hav solderd calculator components together also.and i fixed my hifi's amp also.so im not a total noob.
