Ok well your first image would indicate that the ground point is wrong. Maybe it's the angle but it looks like you've soldered to the top left/bottom left. This is incorrect - you want the top right solder pad. Also make sure when you desolder this wire that none of th pads are shorted by a blob of excess solder. I *think* your other solder point is alright but it's hard to tell from this angle.

Yes, I apologize for my 'weak' camera...it stinks for macro shots.

The ground lead is attached to the upper right solder pad...since this area is a little more difficult to solder to, I will try re-soldering this lead again, just in case I fouled it up.

..You are sating that it HAS to be the upper right pad for the mod to work correctly?..and not just a ground?..please clarify.

I have just started a new site build for Nextel..lots of hours..so I will post when I am available..need to run and get some more 100k trimmers too!

any ground is fine it's just you want to keep leads as short as possible to minimise injecting noise into the feedback loop. you can use whatever ground is closest.

I have been building a new cell site for Nextel...about 3hrs from home..ugghh. Where does the time go? When theres work..theres $$..but no time. When there is no work, there is time..but no $$.

..maybe I'll just have my wife go get the trimmers for me..since the wires are still on the mobo..that is really all I am waiting on. Days lately have been starting too early and ending too late for me to get to the stores.
