Conductive ink / solder is your best bet here. Going the other way would only prove to be messy and it poses a risk if the wire comes loose ( You don't want that metal somewhere on your board where it can pose a short-circuit issue ).

Where could i buy conductive silver aside from online? I would not think Radio Shack would have it but maybe? Perhaps an auto parts store those tacks are so very tiny i don't trust myself with a solder gun.

I was thinking a tiny peice of wire just big enough to bridge it and tacked down (covered over completely) with clear enamel.

Radioshack SHOULD have the ink in question.

And I was right:

Ok so the Radio Shack here does not sell conductive ink pens the closest store that has it is 70 miles from here........but the auto parts store has this paint pen kit for repairing the breaks in rear window defroster elements. I would think that would serve my purpose as it is highly conductive stuff.

Anyone got any thoughts on that or an alternative solution for bridging the pads. I tried my wire thing did not work out didn't hurt anything it just didn't work.

Yeah when i saw that i said hmmmm...that may just work it's got to be conductive to work in it's intended application. So good deal $6.99 at O' Reillys auto guess you can't go wrong for that price.
