I have an evga 680i A1 revision and just got it back from RMA. When I set my voltage in the bios as 1.8 it shows as 1.32 under load in cpuz. I definitely would like to mod this board to fix it but wanted to know if I would be able to wipe off the pencil etc if I had to send in my motherboard for some reason again? And for the mod I just pencil over the resistor with the two red spots right? What would I do on the one with only 1 spot. I don't have a multimeter and wanted to know how difficult this mod is. Never done a volt mod before...

1.8v!!! I'm pretty sure CPU-Z is just wrong. It has problems with voltages over 1.4v. Use SpeedFan for that.

WOW lol huge typo, I meant 1.38, I am using the newest cpuz which supposedly is better with voltages, and speedfan shows the same as cpuz

Is there a way I can clean the pencil off if I do this mod? And can I just use a normal pencil?

If you use alcohol on a cloth it should take the graphite off.
The way i see it is that if there is not visable graphic left on then there shouldn't be a problem.
