Are you following the picture posted by GTT? Below is the resistor I've got posted on my thread that has worked for many people. It is the resistor to the right of the one GTT did.

I guess i might not fully comprehend if my motherboard is infact fluctuating or not. This could be the case x.o.

Maybe it's just one of those days.

Actually, CPU-Z is reporting the proper voltage. The vDroop mod will not make the vCore in Windows (at idle) the same as you've set it in the BIOS. It will be close (.03, in your case), but it won't be exact. The vDroop mod is seen between Idle and Load conditions, in which the drop is negligible, zero, or even goes up slightly (back towards what you've set).

What the heck is going on here? That resistor is not the same one as GTT is claiming to use? Or am i going insane?

I agree,
I'm not knocking GTT, His method can be a proper vdroop mod as well. I cant disprove it, but I can vouch for this method I have posted. I have done it on 6 motherboards and have sent it to others who have been successful.

Eric, now that i have a general understanding of this mod, can you please list some Pros/Cons of doing it? Thanks.

Ok, after comparing the two images, they're both pointing to the same two resistors, but each image labels a different on as the one to perform the vDroop mod on. I'm not sure if both will work, but if one doesn't, the other should.

There is no con in this lol... ALL PROS.

And Eric I did try the right resistor and that worked for me, while the left did not. Thank you so much

Now I can vouch for the right resistor too as that was the one that worked for me.

Oh and 1.4625 in bios and 1.448 idle and load.

EDIT: Now I am idle at 1.448 and 1.456 load. IS this normal?

The Pros:
Allows for higher overclock on lower vcore. You can run a lower vcore to the CPU because the voltage will not drop below what the CPU needs to run when under load.

This mod also allows the voltage in windows to more closely match what is set in Bios.

Cons:
The Motherboard is designed to lower vcore under load so the CPU doesnt get stressed when it is working harder.
